This is a short animation (only 12 minutes) that manages to pack several emotional punches into its short running time. It is about the grief and damage done to a couple after a tragedy occurs with their 10 year old daughter. It is a uniquely American tragedy and on that hits home to me more than ever as i have just become a father and worry about the violent society my son will grow up in.
I loved the animation style and the very interesting transitions between scenes. The use of shadows/ghosts to not only tell the story but to also portray the inner grief of the parents is well done also. The music is a perfect accompaniment. I really recommend all see this.
