Friendsgiving

Friendsgiving is a terribly unfunny “comedy” about a bunch of super boring people coming together to have Thanksgiving together and speak boring nonsense at eaxch other.

Here are the reasons why I didn’t enjoy this film (in no particular order):

  1. It contains sad, tired cliches of Americans with an Italian heritage.

2. It is crude for no reason. It isn’t funny and adds nothing to the film.

3. It is painfully unfunny – I didn’t laugh once.

4. It tries to be quirky but ends up being being irksome e.g. breaking the fourth wall once.

5. It is shot like a soap opera on TV along woth the requisite poor acting.

6. The characters are so boring with absolutely nothing of interest to say, This film isn’t about anything.

7. It is totally aimless and the dialogue isn’t nearly snappy enough to carry this film anywhere.

In the spirit of giving thanks, I was very thankful when it finished and am very thankful that I will never have to watch it again.

Rating: 1 out of 5.
